LOSHRS Guest Expert – Professional ocean racer Damian Foxall presents at PCYC on Friday June 13th
With 30 years of racing experience from dinghy’s to ocean racing trimarans that average 30 knots plus, Damian Foxall is arguably one of the most experienced offshore racing sailors in the world. He has logged over 350,000 nautical miles during 9 round the world races, 18 Trans-Atlantic races and the Americas Cup. His most recent victory came as a watch captain aboard Groupama, winner of the exciting 2011-12 Volvo Ocean Race.

Damian will be sharing several high-octane experiences and adventures on the high seas which occurred across this amazing period of time. Currently living in Montreal, Quebec, from Irish decent, Damian will also be talking to us about a topic that all sailors appreciate, our water environment. As a Sports Ambassador for Canadian Wildlife Federation, he will be sharing his unique background and perspective on this precious resource.
