On Saturday, November 18, 2023 LOOR is hosting a Trophy Banquet for all Races and Racers, including the Susan Hood Trophy Race, Lake Ontario 300/600 Challenge, and the LOSHrs Race Series. Trophies for all three races will be presented.
The agenda is:
5:00 pm
Racers Meet Up for hors D’oeuvres and Cocktails
7:00pm : Dinner & Award Presentation
Carved roast top sirloin of beef, red wine au jus, creamed horseradish
Roast chicken Grand’Mere, mushrooms, pearl onions, smoked bacon, natural jus
Fresh vegetables in season
Herb roasted new potatoes
Vegetarian option:
Roasted acorn squash stuffed with wild rice, grains, lentils, dried fruits, roasted nuts and seeds with a Berbere scented tomato sauce
Caesar salad and seasonal salad bar
Chef’s sweet table
Fresh rolls and butter
Coffee and tea service
Cost for dinner is $40 (including taxes and service charge)
In order to ensure the clubs are prepared, reservations are required for these dinners. LOOR has subsidized this dinner to make them more affordable so you can bring your whole crew, family, and friends. The Person-in-Charge (skipper) is requested to coordinate with their crew whether they are booking for all, or each crew is booking just for themselves.
